A couple of years ago, my close friend lent me an Agatha Christie mystery. Fast forward to today, I am working on reading the entire collection. I am hooked and I don’t understand. I love them but why?? They are very simply written, but there is so much to unpack. I don’t know how she did it. The answer, when given, is so obvious, yet I don’t usually see it coming. I am amazed.
I have read all the Sherlock Holmes stories and even though I love both, I probably prefer Christie for the simplicity of such complex mysteries.
I also love Poirot, but Miss Marple is a horrible busy-body!
